Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar Community Council

Aberdeenshire Council recently invited landowners and developers to put forward proposals for development that they would wish to be considered in the Main Issues Report, with a view to taking them forward over the next 12 to 15 years through the next Local Development Plan. As well as high profile proposals such as Stonehaven South, there have been many others submitted, including proposals for Catterline, Kinneff and Mill of Uras. All of these have been published at http://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/planning/localplan/ldpproposals.asp#Kincardine.

All the proposals will be assessed and published in the Main Issues Report in Spring 2009, at which time Council will seek the views of communities and individuals about what they like / don't like about all of the proposals received. Until then, the Council is encouraging discussion between (and within) communities and with developers on the merits of submissions made.
