archivesCommunity Council hears details of "Stonehaven South"A packed Community Council meeting heard from Harry McNab of Bancon about the proposed Stonehaven South development at a specially arranged meeting last Tuesday. His presentation was followed by a lively and interesting discussion, at which it became clear that there are some considerable concerns in the community about the development, and in particular its effect on the Dunnottar Woods and on certain important views, such as from the Golf Course and the Black Hill War Memorial. There was also some qualified support for the development, although many expressed scepticism that the promised community facilities and infrastructure would actually be delivered.
