Car parking charges in Inverurie’s High Street pay and display car park have been suspended by Aberdeenshire Council from this Saturday (January 28) for the duration of the road closure on High Street, anticipated to last for three weeks.

A new shared foot and cycle path called Primary Lane opened officially on January 25 to link housing on the south side of the river to the centre of Insch and has also had a unique counter installed to keep track of how well it is used. The path was named by pupils at Insch Primary School and starts on Old Mart Avenue.
